I was sitting in front of my nice new (large) window, with my nice new view of downtown Fredericton (not to mention the trees and grass around the building - things I missed at my old place) drawing clouds (they're always moving, so I find them great to pull concepts from).
Long story short I decided that instead of drawing something new, I should perhaps do something people would recognize. My playlist switched to an AMV featuring the song "At the Beginning", and I couldn't help but think of Gordan Freeman and Alyx Vance. Sad but true.
They were originally treated as two different images, so the lighting is a bit different between them. I'll tell you now though (as you are all aware), that's one bad-ass nerd on the left.
Hopefully this is in the right category - would be a shame if Half Life fans missed it.
